We are not tied to one pier. We can leave from whichever point is closest to you on either side of the Bosphorus, and we agree the meeting place when you book.
No. The boat is reserved for one group per departure. Every trip we run is private.
Summer months and weekends fill up early. For anything that needs preparation, a proposal for instance, write at least a week ahead. If we have availability we can also sail the same day.
If conditions are unsafe we do not sail. In that case we move the trip to another date at no extra cost. We decide together the day before, looking at the weather and sea forecast.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own. We can also arrange cake, breakfast or a full meal. Just tell us in advance which you prefer.
Yes. We keep child-size life jackets on board, and the crew adjusts the route and speed when there are children with you.
Yes. Connect your own phone to the sound system and run the playlist yourself.
We start with the date and that day’s sunset time, then plan where the boat will stop. Décor, music, where the ring is kept and the signal between you and the captain are all settled beforehand, so the moment itself stays a surprise.
Bosphorus cruises usually run 2-4 hours, and full-day charters can reach 8 hours. You set the duration; we do not sell fixed packages. For a proposal the departure is calculated backwards from sunset, which in Istanbul falls around 20:40 in June and 16:40 in December.
Four things set the price: the boat, the duration, the number of guests and the date. Weekends, New Year, Valentine's Day and sunset slots fill up first. We operate the boats ourselves, with no agency or broker in between, and we send the quote the same day.
Scheduled ferries run on a fixed timetable with hundreds of passengers and no route changes. On a private charter only your group is on board: you choose the departure time, the pier, the route and the photo stops, and you connect your own playlist.
